The design brief
To provide an attractive, lively community website for the Allerton Villages in Somerset, UK. The colour scheme to be predominantly green and blue to reflect 'countryside' colours. Main navigation and quicklinks were requested. A (database driven) community calendar was required to allow local groups and organisations to enter their events, via a secure login. Other requests included a market place, which we implemented in Flash, and a village directory.
